Bridge Conditions & Economic Inequity meet with Infrastructure Opportunity

Event Date: July 30, 2024
Hosted By: HEAVY.AI, Replica, Alta Planning + Design & Carahsoft

The $9.6 billion in grants provided for the Bridge Invest Program funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act allows us to target high value opportunities for improving the quality of our bridges.

The National Bridge Inventory database includes helpful information such as the Average Annual Daily Travel for each bridge, but it does not include the trip types, the origins/destinations of those trips, or user demographics/characteristics. Without this insight it’s difficult, if not impossible, to complete a comprehensive equity-focused assessment of the nation's bridges.

HEAVY.AI, Replica, and Alta Planning + Design have partnered to enrich this dataset and generate an equity index which allows for deeper analysis, enabling us to focus spending on the areas with the most risk and opportunity. Join this webinar to learn how you can:

  • Utilize interactive visual analytics for in-depth data exploration of US bridges, their condition, and the communities they serve.
  • Use AI and Large Language Models to allow more users to access information.
  • Understand potential opportunities to access Bridge Invest Program grant money.

Register now to see how various large geospatial datasets have been combined and enriched through the use of natural language, AI, and LLMs to provide deeper insights and enable increased access to this information.
